Ingredients: For Vegan Bhajani Vade Recipe 

  1. Vade bhajani or Thalipeeth bhajani – 1 cup
  2. Red chili powder – 1 Tsp
  3. Turmeric powder – 1 Tsp
  4. Coriander powder – 1 Tsp
  5. Cumin powder – 1 Tsp
  6. White sesame seeds – 1 TBSP ( Optional )
  7. Kasori Methi – 1 TBSP
  8. Vegetable oil – 2 Tsp
  9. Finely chopped Coriander leaves
  10. Green chili paste
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Oil for frying

How to Make Homemade Vegan Bhajani Vade Recipe Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Take bhajani flour into a dish. Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, white sesame seeds, coriander powder , cumin powder , kasoori methi and salt and mix everything well together.
  2. Add the oil in the flour. Mix the oil well with the flour. The mixture should be a little crumbly so that the vade becomes nice and crispy.
  3. Add little water at a time and make dough.
  4. The consistency of the dough should neither be too thick nor too thin. It should have medium consistency.
  5. Take a small sheet of foil and spread a little oil on it.
  6. As time passes the bhajani dough becomes dry. Dip your hand a little in water and take a small ball of dough.
  7. If you feel the dough is too dry then add that much water as required.
  8. Roll the vada on the oil on the foil. You can roll the vada with rolling pin if you can’t roll vada with hand.
  9. Make a hole at the cantre of the vada so that it gets well fried from all sides.
  10. Heat up oil in a pan.
  11. Drop the vada in hot oil and fry it well until it gets nice golden color from all sides.
