Ingredients For Vegan Hakka Noodles
- Noodles - 1 pack - You can use Gluten Free Noodles for gluten free option
- Carrots - sliced - 1/2 cup
- Cabbage - finely chopped or sliced - 1/2 cup
- Capsicum - finely sliced - 1/2 cup
- Spring onions - finely chopped - 1/2 cup
- Onion - finely sliced - 1
- Ginger - Garlic - finely chopped - 1 TBSP
- Green chili - slit - 1
- Soy sauce - 2-3 TBSP
- Water - 8 cups
- Black Pepper powder to taste
- Salt to taste
- Vegetable oil
How To Make Veg Hakka Noodles Step By Step Instructions
- To boil noodles - add water , 1 Tsp salt and 1 Tsp oil to a pot. Let the water come to boil. Add noodles and mix well. Let the noodles cook till they are just cooked or have a bite to them . Drain the excess water and wash the noodles with cold water . Keep them aside.
- Heat a wok on high heat . Add oil , ginger garlic , green chili and sliced onions. Saute well for just a minute.
- Add all the veggies , save some spring onion for garnishing . Saute all the vegetables. Add salt to taste , black pepper powder , soy sauce and mix well.
- Add cooked noodles and mix well. Toss on high flame for a couple of minutes.
- Garnish with spring onions and serve hot with a side of chilli sauce .
