Ingredients For Matar Batata Bhaji Recipe
- Green Peas - 1 cup
- Potato - peeled and cubed - 2
- Onion - finely chopped - 1 small
- Tomato finely chopped - 1
- Black mustard seeds - 1 Tsp
- Cumin seeds - 1 Tsp
- Hing powder - 1/4 Tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1 Tsp
- Red Chilli powder - 1 Tsp
- Sabji Masala - 1 Tsp
- Vegetable Oil - 2 TBSP
- Salt to taste.
How To Make Matar Batata Bhaji Recipe -
- Heat a pan on medium heat and add oil.
- Once the oil is hot add mustard seeds. Once they splutter , add the cumin seeds and hing powder.
- Add finely chopped onions and saute well. Add the finely chopped tomatoes and mix well. Saute till the tomatoes turn mushy.
- Add turmeric powder , red chili powder , sabji masala and mix well. Add salt to taste mix well. Saute for another 2-3 minutes.
- Add green peas and potatoes and mix well.
- Add water to adjust consistency . Cover and cook till the vegetables are well cooked.
- Garnish with finely chopped cilantro and serve with hot roti or rice.
