How to Make Gluten-free Homemade pineapple murabba Recipe Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. In a pot add water and get it to a nice boil. On the top of pot add a steamer and place the pineapple slices on it. Cover with a lid and cook pineapple for 10-15 minutes. The sign of pineapple getting cooked is , you can poke a knife or fork easily into it.
  2. Keep the pineapple on side to cool down.
  3. In the same water add sugar. Stir well and make a 1 string consistency sugar syrup. By using the same water you get the pineapple flavor in the syrup which makes it absolutely yummy. (One string consistency sugar syrup - While the syrup is boiling keep testing it for its consistency. To do this, dip a wooden spatula in the syrup and lift out. Allow to cool for a few seconds as it will be very hot at first. Now touch the syrup with a clean forefinger and then touch your thumb and forefinger together and pull apart gently. One-thread consistency is when a single thread is formed (and does not break) when your forefinger and your thumb are pulled apart gently)
  4. Add cardamom powder and mix well.
  5. Add pineapple slices and cook for another 10-15 minutes. When you add pineapple the syrup again becomes a little watery. Cook till it gets nice thick and pineapple has soaked in the syrup.
