Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookie

Ingredients -

  1. Vegan Butter - 1/2 cup
  2. Icing sugar or confectioners sugar - 2 cups
  3. All purpose flour / Maida - 2 cups
  4. Vanilla Extract - 1 Tsp
  5. Baking Soda - 1 Tsp
  6. Vegan Milk - 1/4 cup
  7. Vegan chocolate chips - 1/3 cup + 1 TBSP

Method -

  1. Mix all purpose flour and baking soda. Sieve and keep aside.
  2. In a Mixing bowl , add butter at room temperature . Whisk it till the butter gets soft and creamy. Add icing sugar and vanilla extract and whisk again , till they again get soft and creamy.
  3. Add half of the all purpose flour and half vegan milk and mix well . Add the remaining of all purpose flour and milk and whisk again till you get a smooth cookie dough .
  4. Add the chocolate chips and mix well till the chips mix well.
  5. Preheat the oven to 350F.
  6. Divide the dough into round balls, depending on the shape you desire and then press them slightly like how you would press patties.
  7. Now place them on a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper or on a tray with a non stick surface.
  8. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until the edges are golden brown .
  9. Cool completely, remove from the tray and store in airtight containers.
