Ingredients -
- Vegan Butter - 1/2 cup
- Icing sugar or confectioners sugar - 2 cups
- All purpose flour / Maida - 2 cups
- Vanilla Extract - 1 Tsp
- Baking Soda - 1 Tsp
- Vegan Milk - 1/4 cup
- Vegan chocolate chips - 1/3 cup + 1 TBSP
Method -
- Mix all purpose flour and baking soda. Sieve and keep aside.
- In a Mixing bowl , add butter at room temperature . Whisk it till the butter gets soft and creamy. Add icing sugar and vanilla extract and whisk again , till they again get soft and creamy.
- Add half of the all purpose flour and half vegan milk and mix well . Add the remaining of all purpose flour and milk and whisk again till you get a smooth cookie dough .
- Add the chocolate chips and mix well till the chips mix well.
- Preheat the oven to 350F.
- Divide the dough into round balls, depending on the shape you desire and then press them slightly like how you would press patties.
- Now place them on a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper or on a tray with a non stick surface.
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until the edges are golden brown .
- Cool completely, remove from the tray and store in airtight containers.
