Ingredients: For Vegan Aloo Paratha Recipe
- Potato - boiled - 1
- Cilantro - finely chopped
- Ginger - garlic paste - 1 Tsp
- Green chili paste - 1 Tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 Tsp
- Coriander-cumin powder - 1 Tsp
- Whole wheat flour - 1/2 cup
- Salt to taste .
- Water as needed .
- Vegetable oil - as needed.
How to Make Homemade Vegan Aloo Paratha Recipe Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a bowl add boiled potato and smash them. Add cilantro , ginger garlic paste , green chili paste , turmeric powder , coriander-cumin powder , salt to taste and Mix well.
- Add 1/2 cup whole wheat flour and add water as needed and knead a soft dough. Apply some vegetable oil to dough , cover and rest for 10-15 minutes.
- Take a lemon size ball of dough. Roll it into a circle of around 8 inches diameter.
- Dry roast the paratha on a griddle/skillet/non-stick pan on medium heat.
- Then flip and apply little oil or butter on both sides, and cook till both sides are golden brown .
- Serve hot with chutney or roll and pack for lunch box.
