Ingredients For Vegan Spiced Tofu

  • Plain Soy milk - 3 cups
  • Cumin seeds / Jeera - 1 Tsp
  • Red chili flakes - 1 Tsp
  • Oregano - 1 Tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Lemon juice - 2 TBSP

How To Make Vegan Spiced Tofu -

  1. Pour the soy milk in a pan. Heat it on medium flame and bring it to a nice boil .
  2. Add the lemon juice to soy milk. Keep stirring the milk to avoid it sticking to the pot. The milk curdles and the solids start to separate .
  3. Add cumin seeds , chili flakes , oregano and salt. Mix well.
  4. Using a cheesecloth , strain the liquid off. Now fold the cloth tight giving the good shape to Tofu. Place a heavy weight on the tofu for 20 minutes to set.
  5. After 20 minutes, the Tofu block will be ready. Cut into cubes or desired shape.
