Ingredients For Vegan Shankarpali Recipe -
- All Purpose Flour (Maida) - 1 cup
- Water - 1/2 cup
- Sugar - 1/2 cup
- Vegan Ghee - 1/2 cup - I used Dalda
- Oil for frying
How To Make Vegan Shankarpali Recipe
- In a round bottom pan, heat some water. Add sugar, and ghee and mix everything. Let it come to a boil & switch off the flame. Transfer the mixture to another bowl and allow it to cool down completely.
- Add maida to the mixture and make a dough. Take small portions of the dough and roll out medium size roti. Cut them into small square or diamond-shaped pieces.
- Deep fry them till golden brown on medium flame. Once done, take them out on a kitchen towel. Cool them and store them in an airtight container.
