Ingredients For Ragda Pattice Recipe

Pattice

  1. medium mashed,boiled potato
  2. Turmeric powder - 1/4 Tsp
  3. Salt to taste.
  4. Finely chopped cilantro.
  5. Cumin powder - 1 TSP

Ragda

  1. cup soaked overnight white peas
  2. Ginger-garlic paste - 1 TBSP
  3. Onion - finely chopped - 1
  4. coriander powder - 1 TBSP
  5. Cumin powder - 1 TBSP
  6. Turmeric powder - 1/4 Tsp
  7. Red chilli powder - 1 TSP
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Vegetable Oil - 1 TBSP
  10. Hing - 1/4 Tsp

Garnishing

  1. green chutney
  2. small finely chopped Red onion
  3. chopped cilantro
  4. Tamrind chutney
  5. Sev

How to Make Delicious Ragda Pattice Recipe : Step-by-Step Instructions

Pattice -

  1. Mash the boiled potatoes , add salt , turmeric, chopped cliantro. Mix well.
  2. Divide this mixture into big lemon size balls and flatten them in the palm of your hands. Set them aside on a plate.
  3. Heat a tawa or griddle on medium flame. Add 2-3 tsp oil and place the prepared patties on the hot tawa, cook until they form golden brown crust forms on both sides. Keep them warm while you prepare the ragda.

Ragda -

Insta Pot -

  1. Start the IP on saute mode. Add 1 TBSP vegetable oil. Once hot add ginger-garlic paste.
  2. Add chopped onions. Saute till onions turn translucent.
  3. Add all the dry spices - turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder , salt to taste.
  4. Add soaked white peas. Add water to adjust consistency. Mix well.
  5. switch IP to pressure cooker mode. Close the lid and cook for 40 minutes.

Kadai -

  1. Heat a pan on medium flame. Add 1 TBSP vegetable oil. Once hot add ginger-garlic paste.
  2. Add chopped onions. Saute till onions turn translucent.
  3. Add all the dry spices - turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, salt to taste.
  4. Add boiled soaked white peas. Add water to adjust consistency. Mix well.
  5. Cook for another 10 minutes.
