Ingredients For Puri Vale Aloo Recipe
- Potato - boiled - peeled and cubed - 3-4
- Tomato - finely chopped - 2
- Vegetable oil -1 TBSP
- Jeera / Cumin Seeds - 1 Tsp
- Hing - 1/4 Tsp
- Ginger - finely chopped - 1 Tsp
- Green chilies - finely chopped - 3-4
- Turmeric powder - 1 Tsp
- Red chili powder - 1 Tsp
- Coriander - cumin seeds powder - 1 Tsp
- Water - 2 cups
- Salt to taste
Method -
- Heat a Pan on medium flame. Once hot add oil.Add add cumin seeds and hing powder. Add finely cut ginger and green chilies. Saute for a minute.
- Add turmeric powder , red chili powder , coriander-cumin seeds powder and mix well. Add 1 cup water and bring to a boil.
- Add finely chopped tomatoes and salt to taste. Mix well and cook for 3-4 minutes till the tomatoes become mushy.
- Add boiled potatoes and mix well. Add water to adjust consistency. Cover and cook for 5-7 minutes on low flame. Garnish with finely chopped cilantro and serve hot with Puris.
