Ingredients For Green Beans Matki Bhaji Recipe
- Green Beans - Finely chopped - 2 cups
- Matki - sprouted - 1/2 cup
- Onion - finely chopped - 1
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 TBSP
- Black mustard seeds - 1 Tsp
- cumin seeds - 1 Tsp
- Hing powder - 1/4 Tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1 Tsp
- Red Chilli powder - 1 Tsp
- Goda Masala or Garam Masala - 1 TBSP
- Vegetable Oil - 1 TBSP
- Salt to taste.
- Water - 1/2 cup
- Freshly grated coconut - 1/2 cup
- Freshly chopped cilantro for garnishing .
Method -
- Heat a Pan on medium flame. Once hot add oil.
- Once the oil is hot add mustard seeds. Once they splutter , add cumin seeds and hing powder.
- Add Onions and saute till they turn translucent.
- Add ginger garlic paste and saute for a minute. Add sprouted matki and
- Add turmeric powder , chilli powder, mix masala , salt to taste. Mix well and saute for another 2-3 minutes.
- Add finely chopped green beans and Mix well.
- Add water to adjust consistency. Cover and let it cook till matki and green beans are cooked. Add freshly grated coconut and mix well.
- Garnish with finely chopped cilantro and serve hot with roti or rice.
