  • Ingredients
  • Gavar / Cluster beans - 1 cup
  • Green chilies - 3-4
  • Garlic cloves - 4-5
  • Cilantro - 1/2 cup
  • Vegetable oil - 2 Tsp
  • Jeera - 1 Tsp
  • Hing - 1/2 Tsp
  • Curry leaves - 3-4
  • Sesame seeds - 1 TBSP - Optional
  • Salt to taste

Method -

  1. In a pan add 1 Tsp vegetable oil , add green chilies and garlic cloves . Saute for 2-3 minutes. Remove and keep aside . Add gavar and saute for 2-3 minutes. If you want sesame seeds and saute for a minute.
  2. Add the green chilies and garlic cloves to a mortar and pestle . Crush/grind them. Add cilantro and crush/grind it too.
  3. Add gavar and crush/grind it with other items.
  4. Again in the pan add oil , once hot add jeera , hing powder and curry leaves. Add gavar mixture and salt to taste. Mix well. Cover and let it simmer on low heat for 3-4 minutes.
