- Ingredients
- Gavar / Cluster beans - 1 cup
- Green chilies - 3-4
- Garlic cloves - 4-5
- Cilantro - 1/2 cup
- Vegetable oil - 2 Tsp
- Jeera - 1 Tsp
- Hing - 1/2 Tsp
- Curry leaves - 3-4
- Sesame seeds - 1 TBSP - Optional
- Salt to taste
Method -
- In a pan add 1 Tsp vegetable oil , add green chilies and garlic cloves . Saute for 2-3 minutes. Remove and keep aside . Add gavar and saute for 2-3 minutes. If you want sesame seeds and saute for a minute.
- Add the green chilies and garlic cloves to a mortar and pestle . Crush/grind them. Add cilantro and crush/grind it too.
- Add gavar and crush/grind it with other items.
- Again in the pan add oil , once hot add jeera , hing powder and curry leaves. Add gavar mixture and salt to taste. Mix well. Cover and let it simmer on low heat for 3-4 minutes.
