Ingredients For Preparing Vegan Curd Rice -
- Cooked rice - 1 cup
- Almond milk - plain - unsweetened - 1/4 cup
- Almond yogurt - plain - 1/2 cup
- Vegetable oil - 1 Tsp
- Cumin seeds / Jeera - 1 Tsp
- Urad dal - 1 Tsp
- Hing powder - 1/4 Tsp
- Curry leaves - 3-4
- Whole dried red chillies - 3-4
- Salt to taste
- Cilantro - finely chopped - for garnishing.
Method -
- In a pan, mix cooked rice, almond milk, and almond yogurt together until well-combined. Add salt to taste, cilantro, and mix well.
- For the tempering, heat 1 tsp oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, urad dal, hing powder, curry leaves, and red chilies. Mix well and add the tempering to the rice. Mix well.
