- Dry Figs – 1 and ½ cup
- Dates – finely chopped – ½ cup
- Almonds – finely chopped – ½ cup
- Pumpkin seeds – finely chopped – ½ cup
- Cardamom powder – ½ TSP
- Vegetable oil – 1 TSP

- Chop the dry figs roughly.
- In a pan heat water. Bring it to boil. Mix the chopped figs in it. Make sure all the figs are immersed in water. Boil for 4-5 minutes.
- Drain the water. Puree the figs in a blender.
- Heat a pan on medium heat. Add the pureed figs to it. Cook for 3-4 minutes. Make sure the figs don’t stick to the bottom of the pan.
- Once the figs cool down add chopped dates , almonds , pumpkin seeds and cardamom powder. Mix well.
- Take a lemon size ball of the mixture and mold it in the shape of a modak using a modak mold.
